About Me

Hello! Based in Ottawa, Ontario, it is my task to transform the everyday into a canvas to showcase your life, your personality and all the wonderful occasions you have to celebrate!

Photography has a truly wonderful way of preserving the present for the future. Growing up, my favourite thing to do was rummage through my parents old black and white photos bombarding them with the who, what, when and where . . . I love the ability of photos to tell a story, capture an emotion and preserve old memories. Behind the lens, I become the story teller which is a wonderful way to express my creativity.

My Style: I have gained valuable experience working alongside many great photographers and studying at the School of Photographic Arts Ottawa to develop my own personal style. I have a photojournalistic approach to photography to capture your life in a modern, candid and relaxed way. I am predominantly a natural light photographer and use available light to document your life's most precious moments. Be it your wedding day, a new baby or family/lifestyle sessions, I am there to capture the moments as they happen. I know photos aren't just pictures, they are memories and it is my goal and unique style to preserve the emotion that makes your life unforgettable. I love every bit of what I do!

My Life: Photography keeps me pretty busy and when I am not shooting I spend my days with my wonderful husband (and assistant) Andrew and our little cocker spaniel Tobie - who is showcased regularly on my blog as my most trustworthy model. I love being able to document my life as it changes, looking back to fond memories of yesterday and most importantly decorating my walls with photos. I dare you to find empty wall space in my house! It is my task to provide you with photos that you'll love to surround yourself with.

Anna & Chris | Married at Billings Bridge Estate!

Anna and Chris were married at the gorgeous Billings Bridge Estate early May underneath the blooming crab apple trees – the day, the blooms, the atmosphere, everything was perfect as these two said their “I Do!”. Anna looked like a Princess out of a Fairy Tale and Chris looked every bit the part of Prince Charming – as their wedding day unfolded, it truly felt like a storybook romance. Anna and Chris are a fun loving couple and when it came time for their photos, Anna wanted to go down to the amusement park at Dow’s Lake for the Tulip Festival! Surrounded by the buzz and colour of the carnivals – we laughed, ate cotton candy and took a ride on the Carousel!

Anna and Chris held their reception at the Courtyard Restaurant and before entering for their dinner, they shared a private dance as an outdoor band played just for them!

There is something truly magical to be said about Anna and Chris – their love for each other is evident in every smile, touch and kiss. When these two are together, it’s as though a magnetic force keeps them inseparable. It’s a truly special thing for us to be a part of it and capture the affection and sincerity of their wedding day!
