Sarah & Alex | Engaged!

I had a wonderful time with Sarah and Alex during their Spring engagement session at the Old City Hall.  When Alex emailed me asking for some location suggestions, it immediately popped into my mind with the gorgeous old fashioned steel bridges and waterfront.  As it turns out, Alex and Sarah were thinking the same thing – great minds think a like!  Not only was the location beautiful but coincidently it was also the place where Sarah and Alex met while working together!  I am not sure whether it was that or the familiarity of the surroundings that worked it’s magic but these two just lit up in front of the camera.  Relaxed and easy-going the chemistry was obvious and magnetic!  I had such a great time getting to know you both and can’t wait for the wedding! Below are a couple favourites from my shoot!

Tammy & Nathan | Married!

Tammy and Nathan were married on a chilly February day!  Andrew and I have known Tammy from our undergraduate years at Ottawa University and I was thrilled when Tammy contacted me to photograph her winter wedding.  Tammy and Nathan are the sweetest couple, whose love and admiration for each other is evident in every frame.  It was clear what a special day this was for them and their families and we couldn’t be more happier to be part of their celebration!  I must also give credit to their wonderful and fun bridal party who braved the bitter February cold and wind like true Canadiens!  We got some great shots outdoors despite the bitter cold!  After some photos downtown at the Courtyard Restaurant we headed out to Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm where the ceremony and reception was held.  The decor was just stunning and beautifully suited for a winter wedding with candles and white lights – just beautiful.  Congratulations Tammy and Nathan – wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together!

Baby Taylin!

It seemed like only yesterday when I was out to photograph little Austin – Alicia and Steve’s new addition to the family.  He soon became a favourite of mine and I have since then spent a lot of time with the Tierney’s!  Imagine my excitement when Alicia told me she was expecting baby number 2 and a little girl to complete this adorable family!  I met up with Alicia for her maternity session and before I knew it Taylin Nicole Tierney arrived and was more than cooperative for her time to shine in front of the camera!  She is a beautiful baby girl and much like her brother I imagine she’ll be starring on my blog for years to come!  Congratulations Alicia and Steve – I am so incredibly thrilled for you both!!  Welcome baby Taylin!!

Zachary | Newborn!

Time sure flies by quickly – it seemed like yesterday when I met Claude and Rachelle for a maternity shoot.  This time around I’d like to introduce their little bundle of joy – baby Zachary!  The sweetest little boy imaginable!  Congratulations Rachelle and Claude – I couldn’t imagine a greater blessing in your life!

angie - beautiful little boy and wonderful parents but I found several photos were blury. Could that mean its my computer? Some are as clear as can be.

Rachelle - Hi Angie – Rachelle the mommy here :) Nothing is wrong with your computer, it’s the art of photography! The blurring is done on purpose to focus in on different aspect of the pictures! I got my CD from Anna with all the pictures, it’s going to be hard to pick the ones to have enlarge. Cheers!
