I am based in Ottawa, Ontario - a beautiful backdrop for your photos. Having lived here all my life, I have a fond appreciation for Ottawa's historic architecture, lush nature, beautiful waterfront and the charm of the Byward Market. I can't wait to put this beautiful city to work for you! Engagements
For engagement sessions, I like to shoot outdoors in a variety of different locations to give your photos a natural, personalized and romantic feel. Engagement sessions are complimentary with all wedding packages. I want to have the opportunity for us to meet and work together before the big day - you get a sense for what it's like to be in front of the camera and I get a sense for your personal style.
I have a unique approach to capturing your photos - I combine both traditional poses and photojournalism to deliver beautiful candid imagery. In my experience, the best shots are not necessarily the posed ones, but the ones right before and after - those will be the ones you fall in love with. Everyone gets a little nervous in front of the camera, it's natural, but by the end of the engagement session, not only will you have fun and develop a comfort for being photographed, but will be armed and ready for your wedding day!

Weddings
My wedding photography is a modern, evolved form of photojournalism. My task is to document your day from the details, to everything else in between, that makes your celebration unique. I pride myself on providing not just amazing imagery, but a unique wedding experience customized to reflect who you are as a couple to best convey the story of your wedding day.
My style is non-intrusive; I blend into your wedding and very often laugh, and yes cry, along with you. I strive to be as much a part of your day, as I am there to document it. In doing so, I hope to put you at ease so you can have fun, feel beautiful and be a little spontaneous because that is what will make your images come to life - a beautiful reflection of you! There are no additional travel fees within a 45 minute drive of Ottawa.

Trash the Dress
Ok - not literally! Trash the dress sessions are becoming very popular among brides who want to embrace their beautiful gowns one last time. I approach Trash the Dress sessions with a fashion and fine-art style of photography to capture you in a different light. These sessions allow us to get creative and I love exploring locations that are unique and fit your personality. I work with you to express your artistic side for those one-of-a-kind photos! Husbands are welcome (and encouraged) to join!!
Family
If you are looking to have some photos done of your family, your new arrival, your beautiful baby bump or would like some pet photos done, please feel free to contact me. I do the photos at a location of your choice or in the comfort of your home. I capitalize on available light to provide you with beautiful and natural photos.
I approach family, baby and belly photography in a manner that captures your family in a relaxed, fun and candid way! In addition to some nice posed photos, I love to capture children in their element - having fun, playing, laughing so their personalities shine through. Children change and grow up so fast - I want to help preserve these precious memories for you.
Baby and Belly
If you are interested in maternity photos, please contact me within your third trimester to book an appointment. It is the best time to capture the growing belly.
For newborn sessions, please contact me within the first two weeks of your new arrival. Newborn babies are so precious - full of innocence and sweetness and these images are unlike any other - you'll treasure them always. I do newborn photos mainly within the comfort of your home and, weather permitting, outdoors as well. Be warned, I arrive with an arsenal of props and transform your home to personalize the experience. I work with you to capture your baby's debut.
Products
I offer a variety of products to showcase your photos. Please feel free to contact me to get information about my albums, baby books, canvas' and prints and other a-la-cart products. I also design save-the-date cards, thank-you cards and baby cards which you can send and share with family and friends.
Services
I deliver a DVD of all your best high-resolution images for each session along with the rights to develop your own prints and share your photos with family and friends. Average turn around times vary from 2-3 weeks for family, baby, belly and engagements whereas weddings generally take 6-8 weeks. I want to ensure that the images are processed with the highest attention to detail and quality. I edit your photos for a stylized look to deliver a unique and artistic product you are proud off. This is my favourite part of being a photographer - letting my creativity work its magic!
All wedding packages include an assistant/second shooter. I will always be the primary photographer on your wedding day; however, since I can only be in one place at one time, a second shooter helps me capture different angles of your day that would otherwise go un-documented. Plus it helps me a lot to have someone help me carry my equipment and help with lighting so that my focus remains on you. My assistant/second shooter is complimentary with every wedding package to make sure your day goes smoothly and that every angle is accounted for!

In return, I get to showcase your life in an artistic and creative way and bind your memories in an album. Seeing the joy and beauty of life truly inspires me and I bring my passion with me to each and every wedding and session I have the honour of documenting.
My portrait sessions begin at $250 while complete wedding packages begin at $2500. All wedding packages include two photographers, and all high-resolution digital images.
